The Energy, Communications & Cybersecurity Subcommittee considers matters related to utilities, including the
state's regulation of electric, gas, water, and sewer utilities; telecommunications services; energy policy; and
cybersecurity policy
The Select Committee on Hurricane Resiliency & Recovery was created to review Florida's recovery efforts
surrounding Hurricanes Ian and Nicole and to ensure that Florida is fortified for future storms. In accordance with Rules
7.6 and 7.23(b), the select committee shall have all the authority and powers of a standing committee. The select
committee shall expire upon adjournment sine die of the 2023 Regular Session.
The Agriculture & Natural Resources Subcommittee makes budget recommendations to the Appropriations Committee primarily in the scope of the Department of Agriculture & Consumer Services, the Department of Environmental Protection, the Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission, and the Florida Department of Citrus.

The Regulatory Reform & Economic Development Subcommittee oversees the state's regulation and licensing of
businesses and professionals, consumer regulatory programs, and the regulation of alcoholic beverages, tobacco, and
gaming. Its oversight also includes the implementation of economic development and tourism programs.
