Policy AreaIntegrated Resource Plan
ScheduleUnless otherwise ordered by the commission, each electric utility must file an integrated resource plan (IRP) with the commission by January 1, 2021, and every four years thereafter. At least every two years after the utility files its IRP, beginning January 1, 2023, the utility must file a two-year progress report.
Policy AreaEnergy Efficiency Resource Standard
ScheduleOn or before November 1 of every odd-numbered year, a utility must file with the Washington Utilities and Transporation Commission (UTC) a biennial conservation plan. In the same docket, a utility must file with the UTC an annual conservation plan containing any changes to program details and annual budget by November 15 of each even-numbered year. Finally, a utility must file in the same docket an annual conservation report regarding its progress in meeting its conservation target during the preceding year by June 1 each year. Each utility must also complete annual renewable resource energy reports to the Department of Commerce.
Policy AreaRenewable Portfolio Standard
ScheduleOn or before every June 1st, each utility must file an annual renewable portfolio standard report with the Washington Utilities and Transporation Commission and the Department of Commerce detailing the resources the utility has acquired or contracted to acquire to meet its renewable resource obligation for the target year.
